Very pretty and spotless house within walking distance of local shops, Pagham beach and four village pubs which all serve great food and sometimes have some live music and an extended licence. Great post Saturday night performances!
There is a regular bus every 15 minutes from the top of the road to Chichester Festival Theatre or Alexandra Theatre. The last bus leaves Chichester at 9.20pm so Lindsey will collect you from the theatre in the evenings; so you're door to door 5 miles home to Nyetimber village.
Saturday's you might need to get a cab, which is around £20.
The kitchen is very well equipped if you like cooking and baking and there is a pretty sitting room and family room. Use of own bathroom or shared if two actors are staying. Picturesque garden and in drive parking.
The house is beautifully quiet, restful, peaceful and surrounded by lovely walks. Fresh baked bread, lashings of hot water and basic food provided and evening meals if required.
The garden is very pretty, and perfect for eating outside in the summer and relaxing on gorgeous furniture with fantastic sun trapped areas. The garden is very quiet except for the distant laughter of children in the local primary school at playtimes.
There are so many amazing things to do on your day off, and Lindsey is always happy to drop you somewhere on a Sunday if you want to explore. The beach is a short walk, and there's the lovely nature reserve where you can walk across to Siddlesham and eat at the really nice Crab & Lobster pub. Everything is within walking distance from the house, including a Tesco Express, post office, fishmonger and butchers.
There are 4 bikes you can use, if other cast want to join you on your day off and if you cycle to Bognor Regis you can ride about 10 miles towards Felpham along the promenade stopping at restaurants, bars and coffee kiosks for refreshments.
Singleton Open Air Museum, Tinwood Vineyard tours, Goodwood are all nearby. The Ivy and Purchases are lovely restaurants/bars in the City of Chichester.
Lindsey is a kind and generous host, whose children are grown up and mostly away from home or at Uni, so she always likes her guests to feel like they are a part of her lovely family. The parents of the actors that stay with her, are always the ones most pleased their loved ones are staying with someone who really cares about them having the best stay while performing away from home.
We look forward to you coming to stay.
