Our Small Double Rooms at the Kirkstead are just Simple, hassle free comfortable rooms, we have a large communal kitchen, should you want to cook some food, or grab a plate for a takeaway.

All rooms have shared facilities, this is a traditional style guest house, the building is not equipped for en-suites but in fairness, this doesn’t bother many people, we rely on having really nice people staying :-)

We are exceptionally pet friendly, however we are adult only and do not except under 18’s, that’s what the premier in is for.

You can have as little or as much (subject to availability) interaction with us, if you need someone to talk to, or just want to know something, just shout, well text or call.

It’s on street parking (best to arrive early) the area has free parking providing your not on double yellows.

If you need any washing doing, it’s £3 for a load, washed dried and folded.
