Double room in cosy house with cute kitty (Stockport)

I have owned the house for almost a year, and it’s just me living in the house currently, so I’m looking to rent out my second bedroom. The room is furnished (I’m getting a wardrobe for it very soon, so that will also be in the bedroom when it’s available). The rest of the house is kitted out with everything you’d need, and I have an array of kitchen utensils that you’re welcome to use, such as a juice maker, coffee machine and soda stream which make me feel very grown up but in reality I barely ever use 😅.

There is a small garden at the front (which I’ll be honest, needs some serious love, but I’m hoping to get my hands dirty in the spring/summer). There is also a garden at the back which gets the sun in the afternoon/evenings and will be really nice when the weather picks up! There is a lounge with a dining table, decent size kitchen and a utility room. Upstairs there are the 3 bedrooms (one of them I use as an office when working from home), plus a toilet and bathroom. The toilet and bathroom are very very small, however they are separate rooms therefore does come in handy when someone’s in the shower and you need the loo.

There is also free, unallocated parking at the front and back of the house, and there’s always a space available. Due to the location of my house, it may suit someone who has a car (although I personally don’t and I survive okay). ☺️

I also have a cat called Mischief - he’s a bit of an old boy who spends most of the time either asleep or eating, so it would be fab if the person is comfortable with cats! Despite his name, he’s quite unassuming.

I’m very friendly and conscious to make sure that the person feels comfortable and that it is their home as much as mine while they’re here. ☺️

About me:
I’m 30 and work at a university (but WFH mostly). In my spare time I like cooking, socialising with friends, gigs, binge watching Netflix, swimming and sometimes doing crafts. I like a few drinks every now and again, but not massively into clubbing anymore, but I enjoy restaurants, bars and pubs etc.

All bills are included; gas, electric, water, council tax, tv licence, internet, house/contents insurance plus I have Netflix and Amazon prime.

I think I’m fairly easy going/easy to get on with but the main things I’m looking for in a lodger are:
* I’d love it if my new housemate likes cats
* Is reasonably clean and tidy
* Safety conscious (making sure doors and windows are closed and locked and turning things off in the kitchen after use etc).
Other than that, just someone who is friendly and trustworthy. ☺️

It’s also worth noting that at the time of taking the photos, I’m working from the dining table as the office upstairs is getting new carpet, but by the time the room is available, I’ll be back working in the office upstairs (so I won’t be in the living room if you’re wanting to relax in the day!) ☺️
